Founder & Creative Producer
Maisha "Mai" Dyson
Maisha Dyson is a Hollywood filmmaker, AI-certified media innovator, and founder of the woman-owned M23Media, LLC. With over two decades of experience in media production and operations, she leads projects that combine traditional storytelling with cutting-edge innovation.

She served as Producing Partner and Executive Producer at Magic Labs Media on the Amazon Original podcast Uncommon Ground with Van Jones, earning a 2022 Web Award nomination, and is currently Lead Producer of Plot Twist, hosted by Mekhi Phifer and Inny Clemons. In recognition of her leadership and producing track, she was awarded the prestigious Women In Film Producers Fellowship (2023–2024).

Maisha has also worked as an educator and author, teaching at New World School of the Arts and guest lecturing at the University of Miami Business School. Her book, Mastering Midjourney, has positioned her at the forefront of AI-driven production workflows, where she continues to innovate and mentor emerging creatives.

Her early career in acting gave her a deep understanding of story and performance, which continues to shape her producing work today. She now leverages her operational expertise, industry recognition, and creative insight to deliver compelling projects with both artistic impact and commercial viability.

Maisha serves on advisory boards Adele Myers & Dancers. She holds degrees from Spelman College (B.A.) and Columbia University (M.A.), and resides in Los Angeles.

Philip Walsh
Meet Phil Walsh. A multi-award-winning director who works across many genres, including documentaries, brand films, TVCs, and social campaigns. He has a great eye, a strong sense of story, and is always looking to elevate the visuals to something more cinematic. In his words:

'My approach is always to involve the audience with connected, visually beautiful, and unexpected storytelling, allowing complex ideas to breathe with clarity and impact. It’s not enough just to engage, we must bond emotionally to inspire a deeper connection - making the experience meaningful and memorable.
I have significant experience in doing this across complex, multi-message, multi-format projects from TV Commercials to Feature Documentaries. I am now pushing more of my passion and dedication towards long-form work.

My way is founded on collaboration, understanding, positivity, and an unending drive to create something much more meaningful than just the dissemination of information. Empathy is an essential human construct. If a story is worth telling, its challenge as an interpretation is to connect to the heart.’
